Nando Agüeros releases a new CD entitled “VersionNando”. It contains twelve songs by renowned artists who have been a reference throughout the life of the Cantabrian singer-songwriter and to whom he wanted to pay tribute in this album.

Authors and composers of the stature of The authors of this article are: They have been chosen by Agüeros to put their voice and soul into some of the songs that are already part of the emotional and collective repertoire of several generations in Spain and Latin America.

As Nando describes in the album's acknowledgements:

“If I write songs today it is thanks to most of the authors who appear on this album. Some of them, like Georges Moustaki or Ricardo Ceratto, are recent discoveries, but the rest have always been essential to me, and I always turn to them frequently and with enthusiasm.

However, as I have mentioned on other occasions, my greatest inspiration has always been Joaquín Sabina. He was, without a doubt, the first to awaken in me the vocation for this wonderful profession, although later other musicians came along who, through unforgettable songs, encouraged in me the need to express my experiences, experiences and feelings through music.

This is an album made with humility and with all my admiration for the authors of these twelve songs, a small tribute to twelve names who have left an everlasting legacy in the world of music. I would have liked to perform many more and have included many more artists, but that will be for another occasion…

They are treated with the style and personality of some of the most relevant and beloved artists from Northern Spain.
